Speaking at El Sawy Culturewheel, Cairo

Asalaamu alaykum,

I hope those of you who speak Arabic have managed to take a look at the new Arabic section of the website.We will translate these articles into English, but at the moment you are the only ones able to read them. The section covers interviews in various newspapers, including a three-page article which appeared last week in the magazine, Kol An-Nas.

New articles we have uploaded onto the website this week are:

• Religious Tolerance in Muslim History (Heritage)
• Do people really hate Islam? (Muslim youth)

This week I will be recording another thirty programmes to be shown in Ramadan, inshallah. Set on location in different mosques in Cairo, the programmes promise to be something quite different, inshallah.

Finally, many thanks to all those who travelled to Cairo for my talk, "Re-discovering Islam." The support of good people is highly appreciated.
