Festival of Islam, Sheffield, UK, June 2008

The Islamic Society of Britain invited Idris Tawfiq to their Festival of Islam in Sheffield. Idris gave the khutbah at the Madinah Mosque in Sheffield, which was attended not only by Muslims but by over one hundred Christians, including Church Of England ministers. Idris gave talks about Islam and the West and How to live as a Muslim in Today's World, aswell as speaking to a group of Muslim Sisters on the topic, "Muslim Women on the Fringe?"He also spoke to the Brothers in a very moving encounter at Masjid Umar.
