Islam Festival, Edinburgh, August 2008

Idris was once again the guest of Edinburgh Central Mosque for their Islam Festival. Running at the same time as the Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh's Muslim community reaches out to the rest of the city and all those who have come from all over the world for the month-long celebration. During his week in Edinburgh, Idris not only spoke at Edinburgh Central Mosque, but also at other Muslim venues and at Saint John's Church, who hold their own Festival of Spirituality and Peace. During the course of the week, Idris also recorded an interview, "A Life in Question," with BBC Radio Scotland.
